History
Beard- Boehmer, and Associates, formerly Casey & Company, was founded by Joan Casey, CPA, in 1984. After serving the Columbia area for nearly 30 years, Joan retired in 2012 and turned the firm over to longtime employees (now the firm’s partners) Jack Beard and Gary Boehmer. Since then, Jack and Gary have worked to expand the firm, update the firm’s information technology, and maintain high quality service.
Our primary services as a CPA firm in Columbia include personal and business taxation, nonprofit and governmental audit, payroll, business accounting, tax planning, and consulting. The Firm is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Missouri Society of CPAs. We are certified through the AICPA quality control firm peer review program.
